The Social Concerns Ministry invites you to open your heart to the Centers who serve children to make a difference in their lives.  Items needed are available HERE and on lists posted on the magnetic boards in the Gathering Area and in Good Shepherd Square.  Donations can be placed in the marked bins in Good Shepherd Square until February 11th.

Malachi Center

Malachi Center provides programming for children in kindergarten through 5^th grade and also specialized programming for 6-8^th graders. Some of these services include tutoring, educational support, social-emotional learning, art therapy, enrichment activities and leadership and life skills development.

The Blessing House

Blessing House serves as a safety net for families in crisis by providing a safe shelter for children and support for their families.

House of Champions

The House of Champions is an after-school program that provides a nurturing and safe family-like environment where children in 2^nd through 4^th grade can thrive with additional opportunities to learn life skills and gain the confidence to succeed.

Laura’s Home

Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center in Cleveland acts as a bridge between crisis and homelessness to stability and self-sufficiency for women and their children. Laura’s Home supports single women and women with children with personalized programs designed to empower their individual needs. The center offers shelter (55 rooms, 166 beds), meals, clothing, tutoring & care for children, career-building skills and help finding jobs, as well as spiritual and mental health guidance and support. Laura’s Home also assists all residents in their transition out of the shelter into self-sufficient living.
