Ginny Pippin -  Executive Coach, Leadership Consultant, Entrepreneur, Business Owner, Ignatian Spirituality Presenter, and Retreat Director.

Ginny spent the majority of her career as a business owner working with C-level executives.  She recognizes that leaders are chosen due to their talents, skills and experience.  However, once in their positions, they aren’t exempt from feeling insecure or dissatisfied.  Often, they ignore their well-honed, gut-level insights and defer to the clamor of outside projections, internal politics and board recommendations.  What is needed is a “new way of proceeding.”

She is an experienced spiritual director and has gone through the two year Encounter School.  Ginny is a St. Raphael parishioner and knows what it is like to balance family, business, and ministry.  She will encourage you by sharing her journey with Christ.

Wednesday June 25th 7-8:15pm

On Wednesday June 25th  7pm, METRO will host Ann Marie Farr and her journey into Divine Mercy.

Anne Marie is originally from upstate New York, moved to Maine, and landed in Ohio as a teen.  Her family has had experience with suicide, poverty, rape, drug addiction, alcoholism, a sibling that ran away from home, and a strong history of mental illness.  She attended BGSU and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree working at main campus University Hospitals in the ICU.

As her family began to grow, she and her husband, Bill, decided to forego dual income to have her focus on childrearing.  To maintain close familial bonds with her kids during school hours, she became heavily involved in the Scouting program and Westlake PTA’s. 

Her three kids were in 3 different schools in three different cities and life was busy, yet she carved out time to attend daily Mass.  Soon, she found herself pleading with God to show her directly what He wanted of her.  That is where the story of her falling in love with Jesus delving into divine mercy begins.  Living divine mercy has permeated her life so profoundly, she has made it her mission to make His love and forgiveness known to all.  Come and see how God has transformed her life, what she does today and learn what divine mercy means.

Wednesday May 28th 7-8:15pm

Paul Bennett - Paul was born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio.  He attended Lakewood High School, Wittenberg University and the University of Michigan Law School.  He joined the law firm of Baker + Hostetler in 1973 and practiced there as an associate and then as an equity partner until he was in his 50s.  Paul is a recovering alcoholic, sober since January of 1987.  In his pursuit of recovery he had a significant spiritual experience which changed his life.  His pursuit of God thereafter led him quickly to a regenerative Christian experience.  He joined Bay Presbyterian Church, became a member of the Board of Deacons and of the Board of Elders.  In 1998 he converted to Roman Catholicism.  Being a lawyer, he started to ask tough questions about some of the things he was being taught, eventually leading him to read St. Augustine and other Church Fathers.   His story is a great one to share with anyone you know who thinks that they’re too broken by addiction to ever be healed by God!   He has been married to his wife Jane for 26 years.  He has children from previous marriages and is very close to them and his five grandchildren, the lights of his life.

Dr. Phil Gigliotti - Dr. Phil is a St. Raphael parishioner and retired physician after practicing medicine for 40 years.  He is a sought after Scripture teacher and founder of various ministries including Proclamation Ministry and Gift of Grace.  He has done mission trips to garbage dumps and orphanages in Mexico City as well as teaching and preaching in Israel.  Dr. Phil has a weekly radio show, a TV show, two podcasts, and a youtube channel.   He is proudly married to Joan for 51 years as well as a father and grandfather.  His journey of faith is amazing and his ministry travels incredible.  Metro is open to anyone looking for a night of praise, an encouraging message, adoration, and ice cream after. 

Rev Dan Schlegel, Wednesday, January 29 at 7pm - Litany of Healing  

This litany was composed and led by Fr. Boniface Hicks, OSB for Friday night’s Revival Session at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in 2024.  This is intended to be prayed as a group before the Blessed Sacrament with a leader and responses.  It can also be prayed personally and devotionally anywhere, especially by placing ourselves in our imagination before the Eucharist in our favorite Church or even by looking at the Blessed Sacrament in an adoration chapel that is broadcast online.  As you pray through this, take your time, and let the words sink into your heart.  Try to notice movements in your heart and any particular lines that might stand out.  This is an opportunity to expose places that need healing, especially places in our hearts that are ready for healing.  It might also help to remember the 50,000 participants who prayed this together at the National Eucharistic Congress in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Jen Schuler - Jen is a Saint Raphael parishioner, wife, mother of five and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to the quest for happiness that everyone seeks—providing people with purpose, comfort, and hope. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Akron and a graduate degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University, Jen has also received extensive training in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Georges Nakhoul - Dr. Georges is a practicing physician of Lebanese origin and a passionate follower of Christ. Several years ago, he discovered the power of Christian contemplative prayer, and through this practice, he experienced a profound encounter with the living Jesus Christ. Georges launched a YouTube channel called “the meditating monk”, to help individuals cultivate a sacred space of encounter with the Lord, and to lead them down a path of spiritual growth.  Come hear about his amazing ministry platform, enjoy worship music, adoration, and ice cream after!

David Hill - Pastor David formerly fighter “Nico the Dragon” and star of over 35 action movies such as “Bloodsport” “Fists of Iron” and “Death Match” has overcome the world of addiction through the blood of Jesus Christ. He founded God Solder's Ministries (GSM) in 2010 to provide healing and freedom from the chains of addiction through the blood of our risen savior Jesus Christ.  From 2011 to now, GSM is a ministry that visits prisons, addiction homes, homeless shelters, and people anywhere who are longing for freedom from the pain of this world.
