In Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus lays out the demands of following him, the great cost of discipleship.  The Mission Statement of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul states: “Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice…the Society makes no distinction in those served because, in them, Vincentians see the face of Christ.”

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the poor by providing beds and mattresses, emergency food supplies, rent and utility assistance and sharing resources for additional longer-term basic needs such as furniture and employment opportunities.
