Development and Stewardship

St. Raphael Parish has recognized that there needs to be a consistent development component to ensure the long-term mission of the parish. Our development efforts will concentrate on establishing resources, involving parishioners and providing processes that enable our parish to plan for the long term future. Shopping Certificate Program

The Shopping Certificate program is a fundraiser for the parish and a rebate program for parishioners. Parishioners can purchase gift certificates to their favorite stores at face value and a percentage of the sale is a profit for the Church.

You can use these certificates "same as cash." Most are in the form of gift cards which can carry a balance from purchase to purchase until completely used.

Certificates are available for the two major grocery store chains but are also available for many restaurants, hardware, appliance and department stores. Here's a list of current offerings:

Shopping certificates are sold in the Parish Office Monday through Friday, 9am-9pm; Saturday 9am-6pm; and Sunday, 10:30am-2pm.

To save time, you can now email your shopping certificate order to the parish office and it will be prepared for your pick-up. Email by 10am and pick up your certificates anytime between 3 - 5pm or 7-9pm. Your order will be confirmed by email with a total. Payment must be by check for the evening pick-up. To place a shopping certificate order email cblake@saintraphaelparish.com.

Weekly Giving

Your Sunday offering can be made weekly, monthly or annually by using your collection envelopes. You will receive quarterly statements throughout the year of your contributions to St. Raphael. St. Raphael Endowment Fund

The St. Raphael Endowment Fund, established in 1989, provides additional support for the operation, maintenance, capital requirement and continued existence of St. Raphael. The endowment is empowered to receive any real property or personal property by gift, grant or bequest from any individual, foundation, corporation, either private or public. St. Raphael School Scholarship and Education Fund

The primary purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance for parish families who recognize the importance and value of a Catholic education but do not have the financial means to contribute to the full cost of tuition.
