Scouts
Boy Scouts
For the last 48 years, Troop 159 has been transforming young boys into men through various activities. From mountain climbing to whitewater rafting, boys create adventures for themselves, while making time to learn about lifelong skills such as First Aid and Personal Management. Scouting teaches boys critical values such as leadership, responsibility, community service, and duty to God. The memories made through scouting last a lifetime, and the friendships between scouts and leaders are usually transformed into lifelong bonds. Scouting in Troop 159 is the perfect balance between fun and commitment.
Girl Scouts
The Girl Scout program is an informal educational program designed to help girls put into practice the fundamental principles of the Girl Scout Movement. It is carried out in small groups with adult leadership and provides a wide range of activities developed around the interests and needs of the girls. The motivation force in Girl Scouting is spiritual. The Girl Scout program at St. Raphael is open to all girls, Kindergarten through high school. Girls participate in service projects, earning badges, learning crafts and skills and participating in camping and outdoor experiences.
