Fall Sports


Registration & Schedule Information

Cross Country

Offered for boys and girls in grades 3-8 who enjoy running, would like to get in shape or like a team sport. Practice starts in August and is held at the Bonne Bell facility on Crocker Road in Westlake, typically 3-4 times per week. Meets are held every Saturday morning in September and October at various locations in the Greater Cleveland area. All participants run, regardless of ability in meets.

Girls Volleyball

Offered for girls grade 4-8 with practices starting the first week of August. All girls who register are placed on a team. The season runs from late August until late October. Practices are held at St. Raphael gym 2-3 times per week. Games are held on Saturdays or Sundays at various locations on the west side of Cleveland. In grades 4-6, teams are set up with equal talent and height with an emphasis on development. No league standings are kept but teams can enter 2-3 tournaments. In grades 7-8, teams are set up as A/B based on talent and skill. League standings are kept and teams can enter 2-3 tournaments in addition to regular season games. 8th grade girls have a city-wide tournament at the end of the season.

Flag Football

Offered for boys in grades 3 and 4 with the primary purpose of instruction and development of skill and knowledge of the game. Practices start in August and are held 2-3 times per week at a field or park in Bay Village and games are held in September and October on Saturday morning at neighboring parish fields. Teams are typically set up with mix of 3rd and 4th grade boys.

Tackle Football

Open to all boys in grades 5-8. Boys in the 5th and 6th grade are combined into one team and boys in grades 7 and 8 are together on another team. Practices start 2-3 weeks before school starts and are held 5 nights a week and sometimes on Saturday. Games are held on Sundays in September and October with both teams playing at the same field, primarily school fields in western suburbs or Catholic high schools.
